Goose parent leads 'endless stream' of baby geese

Adorable footage shows an adult Canada goose leading what appears to be an “endless stream” of little goslings at a wildlife refuge in Michigan.

Footage shows the full-grown goose paddling along with dozens of fluffy babies following at the Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge in Trenton, southwest of Detroit.

“Someone cue the clown-car music for this endless stream of baby Canada geese,” the United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) wrote on social media.

According to the USFWS, Canada geese are “great adoptive parents,” and have strong parental instincts leading them to “adopt orphaned or lost goslings, especially if the goslings are smaller in size to their own offspring.”
