Making Every Bit Count! 3 Meals, 1 Chicken!!! #1 Easy, Homemade Chicken Alfredo

Sarah teaches how to make one whole chicken stretch into 3 meals for your family. The first meal will be homemade chicken Alfredo. Chicken Alfredo sounds like something really complicated but it is really very easy. It is also a very inexpensive meal that can be made on a budget.

Homemade Chicken Alfredo

Ingredients:
1 stick butter
1/3 cup flour
4 cups milk
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
2 cups shredded parmesan cheese
2 cups diced cooked chicken
1 lb cooked pasta

Melt butter in pan. Stir in flour until smooth and bubbly. Add milk all at once and stir. Stir in salt and pepper. Increase heat to medium-high. Continue stirring until boiling and thick. Add 1/2 of cheese and whisk it in until melted. Add remaining cheese and whisk until melted. Stir in chicken. Serve over hot pasta. Enjoy!
