Top Dragster 200+MPH Crash - Chase Murray

Today wasn't a very good day. We started off in qualifying at Pine Valley Raceway in Lufkin, TX for the IHRA Pro-Am Series. On a normal weekend, there is only 1/8th mile bracket racing here. When I made a pass, there was minimal traction past 1/8th mile, as you can see in the video. The car started spinning just before the 1000' mark, so I immediately lifted and tried to correct it, but it just wasn't enough. I got the chutes out just in time to prevent it from rolling over completely. I'm A-OK thanks to my safety equipment. Sorry for giving everyone a scare, but I'm glad my racing family is always here for me. Thanks to EVERYONE that has called, texted, messaged...I truly appreciate your concerns for my well-being. Hurt my ego a pretty good bit, but we'll be back soon, better than ever!
