SEA FESTIVAL IN KLAIPEDA

The Sea Festival, which marks the middle of the summer, is a synonym of top-class events, festive mood, and, of course, holidays and vacation. For many people, the biggest summer fiesta in Lithuania is the place for meeting friends, discoveries, and inspirations. For the 58th time now, the Klaipėda Sea Festival will attract thousands of people who are not indifferent to the sea and marine traditions, thus, raising the pride in Lithuania, as a maritime country, and in its only seaport, Klaipėda, the Baltic port city with the longest maritime traditions.
The beginning of the Sea Festival will once again be announced with the festive nautical procession that will bring together dozens of enterprises, institutions, and organisations, thousands of participants and as many spectators. This is the third year the Sea Festival procession is held under the patronage of the Director General of the State Seaport Authority, Arvydas Vaitkus.

This year, the Sea Festival will surprise with unexpectedly altered spaces of the Old Town and their interpretations. The cosy Old Town welcomes you to: CINEMA SQUARE, STREETS OF TASTES, TOURISM STREET, DANCING FOUNTAINS ON THE JONAS’ HILL, THEATRE PLATFORM and, of course, the amazingly transformed MAGIC THEATRE SQUARE.
