In the world of Real Estate sales a wet or moldy Basement will kill a deal every time. As owner of Hydroarmor Systems I generally won't do estimates for Sellers unless they convince me they want to fix it right. Most Sellers want Cheapest "fix it and ditch it" jobs. They can be honest, say they had a Basement Waterproofing problem but fixed it and have a warranty. If an issue with mold or water arises the Seller is off the hook but the "fix and ditch" Waterproofing Co is no where to be found. Guess who got Ripped off 10 to 20 thousand dollars worth. The Buyer and Seller should choose the Basement Waterproofing Co and the job done before closing. Otherwise the Buyer may be using estimates just to get the price of Home Down.
