In July 2025, the world witnessed one of Southeast Asia’s most dangerous border wars in decades. Cambodia and Thailand, two neighboring countries with centuries of rivalry, clashed violently in what is now being called “The Temple War of 2025.”

For five days, artillery fire, airstrikes, and ground battles shook the disputed jungle border.
