Cook Anywhere with a (Solar) Ebike and a 24V Rice Cooker

You can connect a 24V rice cooker to your (solar) ebike and cook basically anything anywhere you go. This can be the perfect cooking solution if you go on an ebike tour and want to do some camping.
The PTC (positive temperature coefficient) ceramic heating element automatically limits the power so that you don't need any dc-dc converter to power the 24V rice cooker with your 36V or 48V ebike battery.
On a 36V system it will draw approx. 150W in heat/cooking mode and 80W in warm/simmering mode compared to 130W and 40W with a 24V system.
If you completely fill the 1l rice cooker it should be enough for 2-3 servings. It will typically take 30-40min to cook and will only consume 75-100Wh. That is just 20% of a typical ebike battery capacity of 400-500Wh so you still got plenty of energy left to power the motor. The 160 Wp solar panel of the ZolarBoda should also provide approx. 500Wh on a sunny summer’s day - enough for the pedal assist and cooking if your daily trips are not too long.
