It’s time to take a look at the Longines Master Collection Chronograph reference: L2.629.4.78.3. It fits well on the lug end to lug end measurement too, coming in at 46.5mm. Height is no issue either, a 12mm height and beveled edges make this watch easy to fit under a dress cuff. The lugs are nice and short and slope downward from the height of the midcase all the way down to match the bottom of the case back. This makes the watch very wearable.

The watch features a three piece case that is done entirely in high polish. Starting at the bottom, we have a display case back bearing the Longines master collection engraving. Moving to the mid case, we have these nice low sloping lugs that give a really nice flow to the feel, look, and shape of the case. Moving to the bezel; for as thin as it is, it really provides a nice curve from the domed sapphire crystal to the sides of the case.

The watches strap is a medium bolstered brown alligator with a nice calf skin interior. The strap thins out as it gets to the butterfly style, push button deployant clasp.

This dial is really the picture of symmetry. It is textured with a Clous de paris finish but this is broken up by the sub dials being a little recessed with a different circular pattern. The date aperture at 6 O’clock is a nice touch, too, with a rim around the window that is slightly recessed.
