Olón is a laid back beach town on Ecuador's "Ruta del Spondylus", just a few km north of Montañita. Olón is known for its long uninterrupted beach, perfect waves, and great offering of restaurants and hotels.

We stayed at Rincón de Olón, which is just a few blocks from the beach and offers comfortable suites and a great breakfast buffet.
