Tynemouth, England | 4K Walking Tour

Saturday walk in Tynemouth, England.

My journey begins at Tynemouth Station and I head towards Front St., which has several coffee houses, restaurants, pubs, shops, etc.
By the end of the Front St. we can see the Tynemouth Monument and Tynemouth Priory and Castle.
The video ends showing the King Edward's Bay, which is a very lovely and small beach right by the Tynemouth Priory and Castle.

A bit of Tynemouth and Tynemouth Priory Castle history:
Tynemouth is a village and a historic former county borough in Tyne and Wear, England, at the mouth of the River Tyne, 8 miles (13 km) from Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. It is administered as part of the borough of North Tyneside, but until 1974 was an independent county borough, which included North Shields.

Tynemouth Priory and Castle: The moated castle-towers, gatehouse and keep are combined with the ruins of the Benedictine priory where early kings of Northumbria were buried. The coat of arms of the town of Tynemouth still includes three crowns referencing the fact that the Priory is the burial place for three kings).
