High above France, the GRAVES radar system continuously scans the cosmos to track satellites in Earth's orbit. When a meteor enters our upper atmosphere and vaporizes, it leaves behind a highly charged trail of ionized gas. For a few brief seconds, this trail acts like a giant mirror in the sky, reflecting the radar's radio waves back down to Earth.
These ghostly reflections – the "pings" and "whistles" – are captured live by the La Salle Radio receiver.

🎛️ THE AUDIO & HUD
• The Audio: The raw, noisy radio signal runs through a custom-built AI-denoiser and dynamic audio gate. This isolates the meteor echoes from the static, creating a clean, deep-space ambiance.
• The SkyPipe (Orange Graph): This real-time visualizer plots the amplitude of the audio signal. Every spike you see is a confirmed physical meteor impact in the atmosphere.
