This was another session from us of hour of code from PCCOE ACM student chapter in GG International school. It all began with an introduction. First, the students got an overview of how the session will be conducted and what things they can expect from it. The students were told why programming is important and what its benefits and how a code works, what is a programming language.
Then the second part of the session consisted of a cool python program that detected the gestures of the user's hand and named the symbol like stop, thumbs up. The students were fascinated and showed great enthusiasm towards the session after witnessing the program. Then they were briefed about the concept of web development and all queries regarding the concept were cleared. Then the pillars of web development that are CSS, HTML, and JS were introduced. They were keen to know the difference between frontend and backend. After the introduction, the students were helped to implement a basic website program using HTML and CSS. The students seemed excited to continue coding in the future.
