Making an OS Map Box

Since 2012, I've been in to walking and hiking, among other things and, with that interest, I've grown quite a collection of Ordnance Survey maps. They all need a home and, until recently, they'd been living in an average cardboard box.

This box was ready to burst and I wanted to make something. Given the time and access to a workshop, I would've used a natural timber and traditional corner joints. Instead, I used 12mm birch plywood and made it quite comfortably within my own kitchen.

While my broadband connection remains faulty, I've realised that I can transfer the video file from my PC to my phone using the USB cable and, from there, I can upload it (in less than ten minutes) using the wi-fi at work! ;-)

A temporary measure until TalkTalk and BT Openworld figure it out.
