Side (Turkish Side, other Greek Σίδη) is an ancient city located on the southwestern Mediterranean coast of the modern Turkish province of Antalya, 70 km east of the city of Antalya and about 7 km west of the city of Manavgat [1]. Currently, Side is a popular tourist resort, administratively forming a microdistrict (mahalla) as part of the municipal district (ilche) Manavgat.
