Dam Opatowice\ Jaż Opatowice (Wrocław, Poland)

One of the significant place in Wrocław for walking on the promenade of the Odra river. This dam is playing an important role, it helps to control the level of water in the rive. In 1997 there was huge flooding in Wroclaw and thanks to this dam, the living district close to this place wasn't underwater. Also, there is a bridge connecting the small island (called Wyspa Opatowicka) with the land.
