Sometimes gold panning isn’t about striking it rich… it’s about testing the ground and reading the story beneath your feet.

I watched someone pack up and walk away from their hole on a gold rich claim… and I couldn’t ignore it. I grabbed my pan and dipped into the bottom of their dig just to see what they might’ve missed with permission.

No proper setup. No water source.

Just a few ice cubes and a splash of my drinking water.

Not ideal… but sometimes curiosity hits harder than preparation.

Later, I came back and did it the right way but this moment right here?
This is the real process. The instinct. The test. The beginning.

Gold isn’t always about luck… it’s about showing up, even when you don’t have everything.
