Diesel Particulate Filter Warning Light

A DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) warning light, which is usually amber or orange, means the filter is becoming clogged with soot and needs to regenerate to clear itself. If the light remains illuminated, driving for a period at a consistent, higher speed (above 40 mph or 60 kph) should trigger this regeneration process and turn the light off. A red light or a red warning light for a "Stop Engine" is a more serious issue and requires immediate attention to prevent damage.
