Iranian Rural Life on a Rainy Day: Cooking traditional Tarkhiyeh soup for colds and Ramadan iftar

Hello everyone
Welcome to another video of our rural life in Ilam, western Iran.
My daughter has a cold and today I decided to cook local Tarkhineh soup to cure her cold.
The people of Ilam, western Iran, have a local dish called "Tarkhineh" which is made from wheat, local buttermilk, turnip, pepper, garlic and various aromatic vegetables. Tarkhineh is very useful for treating colds and we often consume this dish as a tonic and therapeutic food on cold winter days.
Join me as I show you the recipe for local Tarkhineh soup with lentils and malva. I hope you enjoy this video.

At Ilam Channel, we plan to show you a part of the indigenous culture of Ilam in the form of traditional food cooking, local clothing and costumes, rural work, indigenous knowledge, local herbal medicines, traditional and rural medicine, local games, rural celebrations and festivals, local mourning ceremonies and in general, indigenous customs and traditions. I invite you to subscribe to us and watch ourvideos.
