How to add custom fields

Osclass offers an array of tools to customise the way you display listings on your website. Among Osclass's innumerable features for listings, "Customise fields" allows you to easily create new fields to fill out when users publish a listing. It is especially useful when you require extra information from them when publishing a listing, for example: number of bedrooms in real estate classifieds website, fuel type in car listings, number of vacancies for jobs, etc.

To add Custom Fields to your Osclass classifieds website, access your Dashboard - Listings - Custom fields → Add new. Editing custom field is a piece of cake:

1. Get the title for the field, as it will appear on your website.
2. Choose a type of the field you want to add. You can choose between text, dropdown list, etc.
3. If you want, you can make your custom field a required field by ticking a box below the type.
4. Choose categories where you want the field to appear. You can choose all of them by clicking “check all”.
5. You can also edit the identifer name in advanced options.

And you're all set! Now users can add extra information on their listings. You can delete custom fields anytime, by clicking on Delete. Furthermore, you can filter the listings according to the custom fields!
