OVERLANDING: Mount Shasta w/ Edward Shin and Softroadingthewest

On Veteran's day weekend, I drive out 625 miles up to mount Shasta to attend a camping trip hosted by outdoor enthusiast and youtuber Edward Shin. I also had the opportunity to meet Donald from Soft Roading the West. Even though I've never met him, I considered him a good friend and softroading/overlanding colleague. It was amazing to finally meet these two in person!

Products in this video:

Luno Life signature air mattress $224
https://lunolife.com/
Overall, the best air mattress you can buy for your vehicle.
I bought this mattress with my own money and I became an ambassador because I love this product so much! I've owned it for 6 months and have used it over 30 nights.
Use code "JONDZ15" for a 15% discount.

Teton Sports -25 degree Left zipper $98
https://amzn.to/2BKHULb
Stay comfortably warm in 0 degree weather in a -25 degree Fahrenheit base camp sleeping bag. I've used this on many snow camping trips!

Breast Milk Bottles (12 pack) $15
https://amzn.to/35JzwZT
Keep cooking oil contained on your camping trips!!! If you're like me, you've probably tried everything to contain cooking oil and prevent it from leaking everywhere TO NO AVAIL! It's time to take back your cooking freedom! BREAST MILK BOTTLES FTW!!!

Tilting Hitch Cargo Basket $99
https://amzn.to/2Y5LKtr
I bought something like this at Walmart for $69, but inflation is a b**ch isnt it? Welp, it's $99 now. I see many people going for the tough looking roof cargo basket look, and ... when you know what's up... it's kinda dumb. Get your gear off your roof and place it behind your vehicle, your fuel tank will thank you. (the average vehicle will lose 4 mpg with a cargo basket.) Also, you won't look like a poser haha!

Stansport 2 burner propane camping stove (Super Compact) $47
https://amzn.to/2OXWDZQ
I use to use butane and 3 blend fueled camping stoves because they were more compact. There's 2 reasons why I no longer use them. #1 Price, a can of butane typically goes for $3 where as refilling a coleman propane tank will cost 25 cents. #2 that fuel doesn't burn at 0 degree's, propane will. This specific stove is the most compact dual burner propane stove I could find, and that's why I like it so much!
