How Event Driven Architecture Works #softwareengineering #stem #coding

In many modern systems, services don’t always communicate by directly calling each other. Instead, they communicate by publishing and reacting to events this is known as event-driven architecture.
An event can be something like a user signing up, a payment being completed, or an order being placed. When the event happens, it is sent to a message broker, and multiple services can react to that event independently. For example, when a user signs up, one service might send a welcome email, another might log analytics data, and another might create a user profile.
This approach makes systems more scalable and loosely coupled because services don’t need to know about each other directly they just react to events.
Event-driven architecture is widely used in distributed systems and microservices architectures, especially in large-scale applications.
