The Military Museum on the News

The museum I’ve spent almost 40 years building up was on the local news this morning. It’s always great when local news stations in our city shed light on history, personal accomplishments and things to do for locals as well as those visiting from out of town.

The museum will open middle of April, and tours will be offered every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday at 10 AM. The tours lasts roughly 2 hours and cover every major war The US was in from the Revolutionary War through the wars in The Middle East, and the major wars in between: The Civil War, World War I, World War II, The Korean War, and The Vietnam War.

For those wondering, we don’t simulate a the lights and sounds in the WWII bunker room by request as we do acknowledge those veterans and active duty who suffer PTSD. All requests are honored respectfully. Wheelchairs available as well. The museum is wheelchair accessible.

For any question, give us a call Tuesday through Sunday, 9:30 AM through 4 PM, (719) 683-2200. All of our other businesses, including the firearm store, shooting ranges, paintball park, dirtbike track, and motorcycle shops are open year-round. The only thing closed in the winter is the museum.
