The Spirit of Ramadan

Every year during Ramadan, like many places in the world, the area around the Jama Masjid in New Delhi lights up with people celebrating the holy month with joy and togetherness. While the afternoons are dull, the evenings bring with them a sense of revelry, as it is the time to break the fast. The nights are abuzz with people celebrating and breaking bread together. From succulent kebabs, to delicious desserts, there is a lot to be had, but more than the food, it is the emotions that we have tried to capture.
