Esther Krakue on Prince William calling for Israel-Hamas 'fighting to end'
Writer and Broadcaster Esther Krakue has discussed the Prince of Wales' rare statement on the conflict in Gaza.
Prince William on Tuesday (local time) released a statement appealing for an end to the fighting "as soon as possible" in the Israel-Hamas war.
"I remain deeply concerned about the terrible human cost of the conflict in the Middle East since the Hamas terrorist attack on 7 October," he wrote.
"Too many have been killed."
Ms Krakue said she thinks that Prince William in his statement on the conflict in Gaza was trying to use his position as the Prince of Wales to kind of “emulate his father’s stance in a way”.
