Are you ready to smile? I mean REALLY smile? "Smile like an idiot" smile? Because if you don't want to smile, move on and DEFINITELY don't watch these videos.

I'd forgotten that the Hawthorn Street Fair was today and ended up nearby while running an errand, so I figured I'd park for a few minutes do a quick run-through, just to see what was up. Off in the distance, I heard someone playing a cover of Iron Maiden's "Wasted Years", so I obviously had to find the source and check it out. I was NOT expecting what I found.

Two very young girls and their brother rocking out with dad. As low-tech as it could be. Small amps plugged into a generator in the family van.

Amazing, energetic, and (to me, at least) incredibly joyous and inspiring. Take a few minutes and bask in the glory of rock and roll!
