Stories Are Not Plot, They Are Emotions by Cecilia Najar
CECILIA NAJAR was born in Guadalajara, Mexico and emigrated to the United States as a child. After graduating from Brown University, she began her work life as an advertising and marketing executive before transitioning to full-time writing. For many years she straddled two worlds, brand consulting and copywriting for multi-million dollar furniture companies while also freelancing as a magazine editor, a food writer, and as a script reader for dozens of Hollywood production companies including HBO, CBS and Imagine Entertainment. In between those jobs, she taught screenwriting to hundreds of students through her own workshops and at UCLA's Extension program. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and their food-obsessed Bernedoodle. "Unf****pable, a Memoir of Men-agement, Love and Feminine Power," is her first book.
