Review: USB 3.0 to SATA Docking Station from Cable Matters

The USB 3.0 to SATA Docking Station from Cable Matters is working well for my needs. It comes with a 120/240V power adapter (wall wart), cables for USB and the mini USB and the base unit.

I've already used it to:

*Transfer my laptop HD to a new/larger SSD, to

*Recover data from old Seagate external drive that failed

*Use a drive from another machine that failed long ago as an external drive

Somebody said it has a 2TB max capacity, but I cannot confirm this.

I'm happy with it.
