With Cartoon Cat Meowscles stuck in Toon World, Midas Rex begins to investigate his disappearance. What Midas Rex finds is a puddle of ink and along with it, the michevious spirit, Grimey. From here, Grimey manages to throw Midas Rex into Toon World and begins to share plans to recruit the entire island for Grimey’s entertainment. Midas Rex is then left alone in Toon World, until he notices a familiar face, Rio. Meanwhile, Cartoon Cat Meowscles, Kit, and Lexa attempt to find a way out, but instead, Grimey catches them trying to escape and instead begins his fight with Cartoon Cat Meowscles.
