Social Media & Short Cuts

In a video made earlier this week I look at two “themes” that came up from the many amazing comments that you contributed to my last vlog “How Long Does It Take To Become A Successful Composer?“. Those being whether social media is as important as I implied in the face of many successful composers never dabbling. But also is there any short cut to the 10 year rule (spoiler alert - there is but it's just on the surface, the “short cut” is far more difficult.

What do you think about social media, essential, as part of a more varied marketing strategy or not important at all and if you DO use social media what success has it brought you?
