Mysterious Crocodile of the Congo - documentary film about new species of reptile and bushmeat

Many mysterious animals live in the rainforests of the Congo. One of them is the Congo Dwarf Crocodile, one of the smallest species among these prehistoric reptiles. Although it was described about one hundred years ago, today it is not recognized as a separate species. Czech herpetologists Václav Gvoždík and Matej Dolinay traveled to flooded forests of Central Africa and during two months they collected data about this creature endangered by hunting for bushmeat. Catching the wild crocodiles for research and saving those which were hunted to be killed belonged to the daily routine, but this expedition was also full of unexpected
