Is Krakow, Poland livable for Digital Nomads and Expats?!
Toby and Israel arrive in Krakow, Poland and take off to explore this fantastic medieval city by hopping on a tram and heading to the historic Wawel castle. They stop along the way for a "$5 Fantastic Fill" at a delicious Vegan cafeteria called Smaki Roslinne, explain how to buy a tram or bus ticket and talk about the costs of living for a month in this magical, spectacular and still amazingly AFFORDABLE city.
This is the very first episode of Toby's adventure living as a digital nomad, beginning with one month in Krakow, then one month in glorious Budapest, Hungary, then Serbia, then . . . Well, you'll have to hang around to find out!!
Here you will find some of the best destination highlights while at the same time getting real world, hands-on, nitty-gritty details about actual prices and quality of foods, experiences and services so that you can plan your own slow travel or extended-stay expat adventure!
Featuring:
Wawel Castle - built in the 13th and 14th centuries. State Apartments (Royal Apartments) which were the former royal residences of the Polish kings and queens. Mostly Renaissance architectural style but some gothic and even romanesque.
Old Town Square - (Stare Miasto in Polish) - a quick walk through one of Europe's largest town squares. A masterpiece.
Smaki Roślinne - A delicious vegan cafeteria open ONLY FOR LUNCH on weekdays. You can't beat the price or the taste. (on Smolensk street number 27).
We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment near Cracovia Stadium for $1190 for the whole month. (Fall 2021)
