Just picked up a new Intense Tazer MX Pro from Tansky Powersports, Columbus, Ohio (Thanks Travis!). Riding motocross and dirt bikes in the woods is my favorite off road riding. I've owned and ridden a lot of E-MTB's and the Intense Tazer MX Pro has the most "moto" look and feel with Ohlins suspension, ODI grips, Magura brakes, and mullet 29" front and 27.5" rear wheels with 2.8" wide rear tire. The full carbon Tazer feels lighter than most E-MTB's. The smaller and lighter weight 500Wh battery on the Tazer is mounted low in the frame on the Tazer which helps with this sensation. The 505mm reach on the size XL frame Tazer feels perfect for my 6'2" 190 body. The Shimano EP8 motor provides 85Nm of peak torque. The known EP8 motor rattle seems less noticeable on this bike so perhaps Shimano has made some improvements. The geometry and Ohlins suspension give the Tazer a very confidence inspiring ride - stable and planted over the chop yet still quick handling. This bike just "feels" right coming off my moto bikes.
