St. Nicholas of Myra Byzantine Catholic Mission in New Orleans – celebrating the Eastern rite in the archdiocese for the last 45 years – ministers to a small core of faithful Catholics who are in full communion with Rome. The smells and bells of the Divine Liturgy (Mass) create a profound worship experience. Long-time administrator, Deacon Gregory Haddad, says everyone is welcome to experience the liturgy every Sunday at 10 a.m. at 2435 South Carrollton Ave., just a few blocks from Notre Dame Seminary.
