The *Rolex Day-Date President* was originally introduced by #Rolex in 1956. It was the first watch to display the entire day as well as the date. It is only available in precious metals: 18K gold (yellow, white or rose) and platinum. The Day-Date is also often referred to as the "President" because of the style of bracelet that is manufactured specifically for this model. Rocky Balboa, Tony Soprano, and Sonny Crockett (Miami Vice) are some of the characters in Hollywood who have sported the #DayDate on the silver screen.
