Today, Lawman Guitars is Presenting..

A True Closet Classic....Check out this fantastic 1960 Cherryburst Gibson ES 125TC with original vintage correct Softshell Case..

I don't usually grade our vintage guitars as excellent. This one does have a few dings..however, given its a 1960, the Cherry Red Finish is not faded at all, and the frets are hardly played, we are calling this beautiful Gibson in excellent condition. Check those pics!

You are probably more used to seeing ES 125 guitars with just a T designation. The T stands for thinline. The C stands for Cutaway... They started making this ES125 in 1960 with the florentine sharp cutaway. They made them until 1970 like this...This is the first year for one of these cool guitars....

I love the fact that a strap button was not screwed into this cool guitar. Use an old style headstock strap with this beauty. The nickle tailpiece has tarnished some from age. I polished it some ... see pics
We identified the guitar as a 1960 from several details..

1. The FON or Factory Order Number inside the F Hole starts with a R. That makes it a 1960. No serial number on this one. They are identified by the Factory Order number or called the FON.

2. The Single Line Kluson Tuners also indicate an earlier model.

3. The previous owner told us it was a 1960!

This awesome guitar is all original and in excellent condition. The Cherry Red Sunburst is completely not faded...Beautiful finish that looks almost new!!

Here's what is original on this guitar…

The Body, Neck, Tuners, Truss Rod Cover, Nut, P90 Pickup, Pickguard, knobs, Bridge, Tailpiece and frets.

Nothing not original on this guitar!

The neck angle is great. I personally played this guitar for over 2 hours when it got here. Unbelievable playing action. Even unplugged, this guitar sounds outstanding. Check those pics..

This Gibson guitar is truly a tone machine. The P90 Pickup is full of tone.. Fat and loud and very musical. Great harmonics between the body and the P90. I have played these guitar for over 55 years now and I love ES125’s. I had one as my second electric guitar. I love them. This one has the narrower 1960’s neck. 1 11/16’s inch nut and feels great in the hand.

Check out that case. Its awesome… A genuine original Gibson case that still has all the latches, hinges and handle. It even has the Gibson metal label on the accessory box... Nice Lizard like tolex. A great case for your cool Gibson Guitar. The case alone will get you looks! It looks really cool!!!

Great guitar but sold as-is no returns as its vintage and used. However, I have been hand picking my customers instruments for over 20 years now and they have loved the guitars I found them. The cool Gibson guitar will certainly not be an exception. Check it out!

Thanks for looking at our cool guitars.
