Business or employment, which is better?

Jan was an employee in two different industries. He spent 4 years and 6 months in an outsourcing company. He started as an intern then eventually climbed up to HR and training director. After that, he spent 2 years and 1 month in his uncle's agriculture and important business. He was responsible for sales, operations, and importation logistics. As of now, he is running two of his businesses. The first one is The Present which is into trainings and consultancy primary in the finance space. The second business is a digital marketing agency together with 4 of his friends.
