Where Do GTA 5 Planes Actually Go?

I followed a plane in GTA 5 to see where it actually goes.
At first everything was normal, but when I tried landing on the plane, something unexpected happened — my plane suddenly got damaged and the wings broke mid-air.
This GTA 5 experiment turned into a funny fail, and now I'm curious to try more crazy ideas in the game.
