Part 12. OMC 235 repair. Cleaning hydraulic lifters

This is part 12 of my OMC 235 DIY repair story.

In this episode I'm disassembling, cleaning, washing and reassembling hydraulic lifters. They were full of emulsion. I was not sure if it would clean by itself when running engine with the fresh oil. And it is better to have hydraulic lifters empty while reassembling the engine. It is a risk to bend or break something while bolting rocker arms. So I cleaned and washed all 16 lifters and now they are ready for reuse.
