Mini-Review | Coach House Arriva | A Dry Bath in a Class B!
There are only 2 class B coaches in North America that sport a dry bath. This premium coach may be perfect for a couple!

This week we're continuing to expand our mind and options by taking a look at another factory-direct manufacturer - Coach House out of Florida. Coach House has been manufacturing motorhomes since 1985. Their current lineup include 3 class B+ (nee class C) RVs and 1 class B. I chose to feature their class B because it is one of only 2 available here in North America that features a dry bath - the other being the Winnebago Era 70M. Both are built on the extended Mercedes Sprinter 3500 chassis clocking in over 24' in length but unlike the Era 70M the Arriva doesn't feature a slideout to make up for the enormous space taken up by the bathroom.
The second big plus of the Arriva is that it is a 4 season RV. All the plumbing lines are internal to the coach as is its water tank. Optional heating pads are available for the external tank(s).
The Arriva is designed as a 2-person coach: other than the cab seats there are no other seat belts in the van, nor is there any option for a third berth.
The biggest drawbacks I see for this coach are its basic electrical system with no available upgrades and its front lounge. The mid-section bedroom is strictly a bedroom. While competitors like the Winnebago Travato 59K and Paseo feature mid-section twin beds they also utilize that area for dining and lounging. The Arriva's beds are just that - beds. They are not considered bench seats nor do they have a table option for this area.
The Arriva is also priced as a premium coach. It was difficult to find current pricing since the company did not return several emails. Used pricing for 2018 models are anywhere from $125k to $140k. For these higher price points I would expect a longer warranty than the 3 years that Coach House offers.
Still, if you're a couple who's in the market for a class B coach and you want a dry bath, then the Arriva deserves a look. You can fly out to their factory in Florida to check one out yourself and if you end up buying one Coach House will reimburse your travel expenses up to $800.
