Making Custom French Doors in Solid Merbau Pt-1 of 2

In this video I'm making 2 sets of custom French Doors with Festool Domino XL joinery for the main frame joints and Festool Domino DF500 joinery for the raised panels.
The door war made from Merbau due to its stability and durability, the original (1902) western red cedar doors weren't holding up so we wanted something stronger hence the Merbau.
They are glued together with West Systems epoxy and finished in 2 coats of Dulux Precision Shellac based sealer/primer (to stop the Merbau bleeding through) and 2 coats of Dulux Super Enamel.
The glass is 6mm toughened safety glass which has been set with Sika marine polyurethane sealer.
As this home is directly under the flight path of Sydney Airport everything has to be made to a standard to block noise and handle extreme vibration.
The lockset and ball bearing hinges are from Woodworkers hardware in Brookvale.
