Bolivia - The Flamingo Dance at Laguna Colorada

4200m! we are driving in a desert surrounded by high mountains, there is no life & it’s very dry. Suddenly, like a mirage a stunning lagoon appears like an incrusted jewel in the landscape!
We are at Laguna Colorada where thousands of noisy Flamingoes are waking up the desert. They dance, they run, they eat, they are happy and in front of that wonder we forget we are short of breath and cannot leave the place!

4200m, nous roulons dans le désert, aucune vie et tout est sec!
Soudain, comme un mirage, un lagon éblouissant apparaît comme un bijou incrusté dans le paysage.
Nous sommes à Laguna Colorada où des milliers de flamands roses réveillent le désert. Il courent, ils dansent, ils mangent , ils sont bruyants et heureux.
Happés par cette magie, nous avons du mal à quitter les lieux malgré l’altitude et notre essoufflement…
