At the start of each day, Alan and Charlie Harper branch off each on their very different sexual adventures. Charlie's compulsive womanizing and Alan's pathological need for rescuing both emotionally and financially damaged women often gets both of them into unsavory stunts that NO one can ever predict. The episodes often end with the two of them reuniting with a cold beer out on Charlie's deck at the end of the day, recapping their crazy (and often very sordid) adventures, and blaming their misery on their mother.
