The lack of transparency in health care billing is harming our patients.

Health Care for All Oregon advocates for a transparent, universal, publicly funded healthcare system, for every person in the state.

We are supportive of the work of the State of Oregon's Universal Health Plan Governance Board, and will continue watching the work of the board to ensure that they deliver with they are obligated to deliver back to our legislature. This group must deliver a plan for how Oregon can finance, administer, and transition to a universal healthcare plan by September 2026.

Rebecca from the Washington County Chapter asked people in Portland's Park Blocks before the July 20 Pride Parade, why they supported universal health care, and if they had a personal story in their lives in which a different healthcare system could have saved them money, or changed a healthcare outcome.

The current lack of transparency, and incredible cost, is leading to a system with a lack of trust, and frustration.
