Chancellor considering tax cut for Scots ahead of 2026 Holyrood election

Scots could receive a large tax cut ahead of the crunch Holyrood election under Budget plans being considered by the Labour Government.

Plans to cut national insurance would benefit people living north of the border, while proposals to hike income tax would not apply to Scotland.
