In this Shazam Sequel we find our hero is still trying to step into the role of “hero”. He’s clearly suffering from impostor syndrome, as if he just does not belong among the great DC heroes…

Overall this trailer shows us a promising story with the “kids” led by Shazam embracing not only their powers but they ability to work together effectively to what suggest to be their greatest foe yet.

With a stellar cast joining our original impressive cast, in the likes of Helen Mirren, Rachel Zegler, Lucy Liu to name a few…we may be getting set for a collision of forces that will rock the family foundation of this seemingly well layered tale.

Unlike some of the other DCEU renditions of DC heroes, this one seems a bit lighter and more family friendly. Regardless we hope the film will deliver on the the hype this trailer seems to promise.

What’s your takeaway on this SHAZAM installment? Will it have any heart or just epic fights and fancy lights? With Helen Mirren joining the cast and the overall presence of the new cast, we’d be willing to wager that this movie will stand out in the DCEU…
