Why DIY Chainsaw Mill BEATS Band Mill (cutting a Massive Oak)
Lets discuss how and why making lumber on a DIY Alaskan chainsaw mill can be better than milling it on a bandmill. The long standing debate about which is best, chainsaw mill vs bandsaw mill, is mainly a matter of circumstances. In this video I am (sorta) showing how this is the case by sawing up a huge wind felled Oak tree, and making some nice slabs.
