Underground Air Duct Restoration

In this video, Trenchless Innovations uses our Trenchless Casting Mortar process to rebuild and restructure rusted and deteriorated underground air ducts at a home in Glen Ellyn, Illinois.

Trenchless Casting involves using cement mortar to restore the structural integrity back into severely deteriorated, broken and collapsed underground air ducts. In this case the connections, elbows, and plenum were severely rusted. Because of their condition, the pipes had to first be mortared to make them strong enough for lining with our innovative Duct Armor material. Although not used with every restoration project, Trenchless Casting provides additional strength to our air duct lining process for pipes that are in pretty serious disrepair.

Once Trenchless Casting was completed, we lined the entire length of the ductwork with Duct Armor, creating brand-new, strong pipes guaranteed to last. Our lining process increased the home comfort of the homeowner by eliminating the health issues deteriorated ducts can create, leaving them with cleaner, healthier indoor air to breathe in their home.
