On our sabbatical we added 13 countries to our list of almost 30 combined! Although we love so many places we went, we wanted to share a few of our favorite cities that may not have as much attention & we can’t stop thinking about.
1. Siem Reap. The Angkor way complex is probably one of the coolest places we’ve been!
2. Mljet, Croatia. We loved this island that was mostly national park - nature & beaches!
3. Plitvice Lakes. This national park is definitely crowded but we couldn’t help but say wow when turning every corner.
4. Bad Gastein, Austria. The mountain town has us feeling like we were in the sound of music!
5. Madera, Portugal. We visited here on our honeymoon and the nature on this island is breathtaking.
6. Kardamyli, Greece. Introduced to us by our friends a few years ago, we had an amazing time exploring this small Greek town. The beaches, nature & food were amazing!
