Harrison on stage with Paul Stanley - KISS: I Love It Loud. Rockford, IL 08/20/16

Harrison's first concert was a success...to say the least.
Last night, we were sitting in our 4th row center floor seats, which in itself is beyond amazing. A man came up to us and started talking. He told us that he works with the band and asked Harrison if she knew that at every concert on this tour the band had a child come up on stage with Paul Stanley for a song? He then asked her if she would like to be that child. She of course was over the moon excited and said yes. He gave us all wristbands and told us he would be back to get us in a few minutes to take us backstage to meet the band.
When he came back he took us backstage, through the area where the band gets ready. We got to see and take pictures of where the band puts makeup on and we got to see their backup stage outfits. We were then taken down an elevator, then to a room where there was a large KISS backdrop. This was the area where they held the meet and greet. About 10 minutes later the band came through the door, Gene pushing Eric in a shopping cart. Harrison got a picture with the band (Paul asked her where she got her shirt, it was a 2006 Japanese Hello Kitty tour shirt, she was born in 2006) and then they took a picture with all of us. We were third to see the band out of around 200 people who paid over $1000 each probably for the same experience. We also got to see Rick Nielsen, of Cheap Trick, who is from Rockford. Definitely a VIP experience.
We then went back to our seats to wait for the concert and for Harrison's debut. About 4 songs in, the man came back and got Harrison and myself. He took us to the front of the stage and told us he would get Harrison soon. We were within 3 feet of the stage and the band.
The man then came and got Harrison and took her to the stage. She was a rockstar. Smiling and happy. She got to hold the guitar as Paul played "I Love It Loud!" She was on stage for about 3 minutes. He had her bow and curtsy before leaving the stage. Harrison was handed a handful of Paul Stanley guitar picks by a stagehand as she was exiting.
As we were escorted back to our seats, Harrison was getting high fives and fist bumps from everyone she walked by. Even after the show, when we were leaving, people recognized her as the little girl that played guitar with Paul Stanley.
It was a truly an amazing night for all of us. We are thankful for the man who went above and beyond to make this awesome night happen. This was definitely a night none of us will ever forget. It will be difficult to top Harrison's first concert experience. I later found out the angel of a man who made this experience happen for our family was KISS crew member Danny Francis. So our family will always be indebted to Danny for choosing us! Thank you KISS, and thank you Danny!
