Tom Mic Shootout - 8 Common Mics Compared
This is a shootout between 8 popular mics for recording toms (at least they are popular around MY studio!) The shootout starts just after 1:05 if you want to skip ahead. This video has no EQ or compression, just some LIGHT limiting to make sure none of the peaks go over -1.0dBFS for conversion purposes, so you may need to turn the video up to hear them in full fidelity!
